Supply Chain Management Intern

Scope of Work:  

As a Supply Chain Intern, you will play a crucial role in our warehouse operations and gain valuable experience in inventory management, shipping and receiving, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. This internship offers you the opportunity to work closely with our supply chain team and contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our logistics processes. You will be exposed to real-world challenges and have the chance to learn from experienced professionals in the field. 

  • Gain hands-on experience with our ERP system, learning how to enter data, track shipments, and generate reports. 
  • Assist in resolving data discrepancies and maintaining data accuracy within the ERP system. 
  • Participate in the shipping and receiving process, ensuring orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped. 
  • Assist with the verification and inspection of incoming shipments. 
  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and audits. 
  • Learn inventory control techniques and optimize stock levels to minimize carrying costs. 

Experience/Abilities:  

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program, majoring in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, or a related field. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team. 
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). 
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a desire to gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations.
