Job Summary: We are looking for a Customer Service / Order Entry Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in customer support, order processing, and sales operations. This is a great opportunity for a detail-oriented and motivated student looking to develop skills in customer service, sales support, and business operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Duties:
Order Processing & Data Entry:
- Accurately enter and process customer orders for CO₂ equipment, replacement parts, and accessories in our ERP system.
- Review purchase orders for accuracy and ensure proper documentation.
- Track order progress and provide status updates to customers and internal teams.
Customer Support:
- Assist the Customer Service team in responding to inquiries via phone and email.
- Provide customers with product availability, lead times, and shipping updates.
- Address basic customer concerns and escalate issues as needed.
Sales & Operations Support:
- Collaborate with the Sales and Operations teams to ensure order fulfillment.
- Assist with maintaining customer account records and order history.
- Help identify process improvements to enhance the customer experience.
General Administrative Support:
- Assist in preparing quotes, invoices, and customer correspondence.
- Support the team in organizing files, reports, and inventory data.
- Participate in meetings and gain exposure to various business functions.
Knowledge, Education, Experience and/or abilities:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, communications, business administration, or a related field.
- Organization, time management, communication, and effectiveness.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with ERP or CRM systems is a plus (but not required).
