Marketing Intern

Office Location: Loganville, GA & Alpharetta, Georgia

Scope of Work:

The Marketing & Graphic Design Intern will assist our Marketing team and work in tandem with others on our team to develop creative projects during the summer. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a team-relevant project which makes an impact after you have left. During this 8 to 12 week paid, full-time internship, you will be assigned an intern manager who will inspire you, oversee your work, help to identify project goals and support your professional development. 

The ideal candidate demonstrates an ability to take direction, follow instructions and be open to constructive feedback with a professional and positive attitude. Thorough understanding of design principles, production and layout skills, and demonstrated expertise using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop as well as demonstrated experience in building and producing designs for both print and interactive media are a must. Must possess excellent time-management skills, and an ability to work both independently and collaboratively, and strong, refined typography skills including logo design and brand development. 

  • Marketing Communications & Messaging 
  • Create visually appealing and effective marketing collateral, including brochures, posters, flyers, social media graphics, and other materials. 
  • Utilize Adobe InDesign to design and layout printed and digital materials. 
  • Project Management 
  • Strategic Initiatives 
  • Exposure to trade show preparation 
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the company website using WordPress, including content creation, image optimization, and layout enhancements. 
  • Capture and edit photos for use in marketing materials, ensuring they are of high quality and visually appealing. 
  • Work closely with the marketing team to bring marketing campaigns and projects to life. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and effective communication. 

Experience/Abilities: 

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field. 
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. 
  • Knowledge of WordPress and experience with website content management is a plus. 
  • Strong creativity and an eye for detail. 
  • Excellent communication and writing skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  • Enthusiasm for learning and staying up-to-date with design and marketing trends
