JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Title: Industrial Maintenance Electrician

Office Location: United States

Reports To: Regional Facilities Manager

Date: August 7, 2024

 

Job Summary: The Industrial Maintenance Electrician is responsible for repair, preventative maintenance, and general upkeep of all equipment in our facility.  This person is also responsible for general upkeep of the facility buildings and grounds.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for PM’s on all existing equipment
  • Diagnose equipment breakdowns, repair immediately or communicate to manager required repairs/parts and anticipated downtime
  • Perform maintenance on the facility systems
    • General plumbing
    • General HVAC
    • Electrical including High Voltage (breakers, 3 phase power) and Low Voltage systems (outlets, lighting, etc)
  • Maintain awareness of site safety and proactively fix/repair unsafe situations/equipment or advise manager of potential equipment safety related issues.

 

KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR ABILITIES:

  • HS Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with welding equipment is recommended.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication and time-management skills.
  • A team player with leadership abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • High level of analytical ability to solve problems and troubleshoot complex industrial equipment.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Understanding of and experience with low voltage controls.
  • Understanding of and experience with power distribution and associated equipment (up through 480VAC)

What Can Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Ability to program and troubleshoot processors in the Allen-Bradley PLC family or Mitsubishi family.
  • Robot experience.
  • Automation experience.
  • 5 years electrical maintenance experience.

Environmental and Working Conditions:

  • General Manufacturing environment, work can be inside or outside.
  • OT as needed.
